Old Vines - 2017
Pata D’Urso 2017 is a complex wine, which clearly shows the Douro Terroir in a hot year. Young and balanced, on the nose with notes of red fruits and some spice, in the mouth the wood is well integrated into the wine, making it elegant, delicate, with good volume and excellent acidity that makes the after taste quite persistent.
Aged in 225 liter French oak barrels for 24 months.
O Pata D'Urso 2018 é um vinho de cor concentrada com laivos violeta e que no nariz revela a complexidade das vinhas velhas do Douro, onde dominam notas grafite, frutos silvestres, ervas e especiarias.
Na boca é estruturado e com uma boa acidez. Termina longo e especiado, demonstrando equilíbrio e precisão.
Após a fermentação alcoólica ter terminado, as uvas foram prensadas e o vinho passou diretamente para barricas de carvalho francês, onde fez a fermentação maloláctica e estagiou durante 24 meses.

Pata D'Urso 2018 is a wine with a concentrated color with hints of violet and which on the nose reveals the complexity of the old Douro vineyards, where graphite notes, wild berries, herbs and spices dominate.
In the mouth it is structured and with a good acidity. It finishes long and spicy, demonstrating balance and precision.
After the alcoholic fermentation ended, the grapes were pressed and the wine passed directly into French oak barrels, where it underwent malolactic fermentation and aged for 24 months.
Vinho complexo com estágio de 4 anos nos nossos armazéns (36 meses em madeira + 12 meses em inox) que mostra claramente o Terroir Duriense das vinhas antigas da Furada num ano quente. Aromático e equilibrado, no nariz com notas de frutos silvestres e alguma especiaria, na boca a madeira mostra-se muito bem integrada no vinho, tornando-o suave, sedoso e delicado, com bom volume e uma excelente acidez que torna o final de boca bastante persistente e apetecivel.

Complex wine aged for 4 years in our warehouses (36 months in wood + 12 months in stainless steel) that clearly shows the Duriense Terroir of the old Furada vineyards in a hot year. Aromatic and balanced, on the nose with notes of wild fruits and some spice, in the mouth the wood is very well integrated into the wine, making it smooth, silky and delicate, with good volume and an excellent acidity that makes the aftertaste quite persistent and appetizing.

Ancient varieties - 2019
Fruit of a careful selection of grapes of old varieties, a long and soft pressing was done, refining exotic flavors that were easily perceived.
Fermentation took place in a stainless steel vat with controlled temperature. Part of the batch was matured in a 600 liter French oak barrel used.

Rainy year until the month of May, followed by a very dry and hot period, causing production drops, as well as some dehydration in the most exposed grapes. Some rain at the end of August accelerated the maturation of the grapes.
Manual harvest with the choice of the best bunches in the vineyard. The grapes were crushed and destemmed and then pressed. Decanting at 10ºC for 48 hours. Fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature at 14ºC. Part of the wine was aged in 225 liter oak casks for 9 months.
Pata D'Urso Pink wine
Ancient Vines - 2019
Through a selection of grape varieties from the oldest in the Douro present in the old vineyards of Quinta da Furada, this genuine 2019 pink is born. Already in traditional granite and shale lagares in which the grapes are trodden by foot, a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperatures for 24 hours began. Then, 12% of the volume of the lagar was bleed and the must was removed to make this pink wine. The fermentation process started in a used 600 liter French oak barrel, where it remained for 6 months of aging.
Esgotado / Stock Off
Côr rubi leve. Intenso no nariz, notas de pequenos frutos vermelhos, morango, alguma nota floral e ligeira madeira. Boca equilibrada, fresca, suave, com um final longo e frutado.
Ano chuvoso até o mês de Maio, seguido de um período muito seco e quente, originando quebras de produção, principalmente na casta Touriga Franca. Alguma chuva no final de Agosto veio acelerar a maturação das uvas.
Vindima manual. As uvas foram esmagadas e desengaçadas. Maceração em lagar de granito durante algumas horas. O lagar foi sangrado para tirar 700 litros que fermentaram em cuba inox e estagiaram depois em pipa de carvalho durante 9 meses.

Light ruby color. Intense on the nose, notes of small red fruits, strawberry, some floral notes and light wood. Balanced, fresh, smooth in the mouth, with a long and fruity finish.

Furada - Late Harvest 2021
Late Harvest with "noble rot" harvest carried out at the end of November from the highest Quinta da Furada vineyards (400 meters above sea level and facing north and northeast), 100% from the indigenous Boal do Douro (Sémillon) grape variety and with aging for 24 months in stainless steel - 375 ml bottles - followed by another 6 months of rest in the bottle.

The Wine: Furada White Port is a blend produced from the white grape varieties of the Douro region

É feito uma sangria quando as uvas entram no lagar, que depois fermenta em cuba de inox-

Nota de prova: De cor leve, salmão, o vinho apresenta notas intensas de pequenos frutos vermelhos. Muito equilibrado na boca, a fruta é presente com a acidez bem casada e um final

O Vinho: O Furada Tawny Family Port é um vinho do Porto velho em que se desconhece o ano, apenas sabemos ter sido produzido com as uvas das vinhas velhas da Quinta da Furada, onde são plantadas numerosas castas tradicionais da região do Douro
As vinhas velhas são trabalhadas manualmente desde a poda até a vindima que geralmente tem lugar no mês de Setembro
As uvas foram fermentadas nos nossos lagares de granito tradicional, onde estimamos que o trabalho de extração tenha sido efetuado com pisa a pé durante 2 a 3 dias antes da adição de aguardente.
O vinho envelheceu depois durante muitos anos em tonéis e depois em pipas de castanho.
Nota de prova: De cor acastanhada, é um vinho complexe e intenso no nariz, com notas de frutos secos, figos, madeira, especiarias. Na boca é muito equilibrado, fresco, com sabor a frutos secos, amêndoas, figos, mel. O final é longo e persistente.

O Azeite Furada é tratado com o máximo cuidado e respeito em todos os processos, tudo para que os segredos e sabores do fruto dos nossos olivais centenários cheguem intactos aos nossos clientes.
Extraído a frio de azeitonas de oliveiras Cobrançosa, Molar, Galega, Cordovil, Redondela, Madural, Negrinha do Freixo e Verdeal.
Apresenta-se no nariz: Frutado maduro, com notas de maçã madura, folha de figueira e alguns frutos secos verdes e maduros (amêndoa e noz) e alguma erva e na boca medianamente doce, amargo e picante, o que o torna bastante harmonioso, apresentando ainda um fim de boca picante e prolongado. O azeite denota ainda uma cor limpida e esverdeada.
Como se trata de um azeite tão especial, é apresentado ao público numa embalagem cuidada, sobretudo didáctica, como se de um presente se tratasse.

Cold extracted from Cobrançosa, Molar, Galega, Cordovil, Redondela, Madural, Negrinha do Freixo and Verdeal olives.
It presents itself on the nose: Ripe fruity, with notes of ripe apple, fig leaf and some green and ripe dried fruits (almond and walnut) and some herb and in the mouth moderately sweet, bitter and spicy, which makes it quite harmonious, still presenting a spicy and prolonged aftertaste. The oil also shows a clear and greenish color.
As it is such a special olive oil, it is presented to the public in a careful packaging, especially didactic, as if it was a gift.
